Over the years Colin R. Owen has acquired a large collection, over 32 meters of wall to wall showcases, of fine mineral specimens. In addition, there are approximately 1200 flats of minerals on shelves for collectors and dealers to peruse in Somerset West, South Africa. Come for a day, stay for a week!!!! Anyone wishing to visit is always very welcome.
For over 30 years, Colin has operated a numismatic Company, the “Chimperie Agencies”, being American Numismatic Association life member no. 1651 and the International Banknote Society life member   no. 21. He is also a life member of all South African Numismatic and Militaria Societies and joined the International banknote Society in 1978.
